ISBN: 978-1-74169-098-9

Summary/Back cover:
Donald loves drumming, all day and all night. But his family all say he is TOO LOUD. So Donald tries other activities, but nothing seems right. A fun story about a little boy who makes a lot of noise.

Review:
This story itself is fun - Donald drums anywhere and everywhere. When he tries to do something else, it still isn't right; "Too fast Donald!" when walking the dog. "Too messy Donald!" when trying to paint. "Too boring Donald" says Donald to himself when he tries just sitting there.

The illustrations add another level of humour to the story. The sight of Donald tapping out a beat on his poor sister's helmeted head and of his Mum in matching leotard, leggings, wrist and head bands always draw a laugh.

A, fun quick read. Maybe not best for the just-before-bed read due to all the drumming onomatopoeia, but still highly recommended.

3.5/5
