250-Review Giveaway!

Hi all,

1001 Book Reviews for Kids is pleased to announce our very first giveaway!  But more on that soon...

Firstly, I would like to extend my thanks to each and every one of you that has...

• contributed a book review
• read a review
• told someone else about this site (singing it's praises, hopefully!)

I'm pleased to say that we are averaging nearly 2000 visitors a month here now (and that doesn't include my own visits to add reviews in!), so there's lots of you out there - USA, New Zealand and UK are where most of our readers are based, but we do also have some readers in Malaysia, Germany, and Russia, amongst others! Welcome to all of you - please do leave comments on your favourite reviews, or contribute reviews of your own.  I'm always looking for new reviewers to join in!

And now... the giveaway!  When we reach 250 reviews, I have some beautiful children's books to give away to a number of lucky people, thanks to some generous sponsors - I'll reveal the titles later on, but I promise they're good ones, that will get good ratings on this site!

To enter the giveaway, all you need to do is be one of my reviewers in 2012 - you can enter any time up to when the ticker (the little worm above) says we've got 250 reviews on the site.  Based on how well we've been going this year so far, the ticker will show 250 in about 3 weeks - maybe less!  

You can gain extra entries into the draw by the following methods:

• write lots of reviews - every review you write will give you TWO entries into the draw.
• link to this giveaway on your own blog - pop the link in the comments for this post or email me your link, and you'll gain one extra entry.
• refer people to this site - if they write a review and say that they were directed here by you, you will both gain an extra entry.
• pop the link to this giveaway on your Facebook page, email your link to me (make it a public link) and you'll gain one extra entry.
