Publication date: 2005

Summary/Back cover:
This collection of fun and constructive books encourages young learners to sing, move and play.
Our mother goose program uses engaging music, colourful illustrations and well-loved rhymes to build and strengthen a child’s developing motor, listening, visual and verbal skills.

My thoughts:
Well, I thought listening to the CD and following with the books was a little hard, as you had to be very quick with the page turning.  But we got there with it, some of the songs repeated twice others only once, it was a guess to which book was next, too.
I did this with my 2.5 year old and 14 month old.
The 2.5 year old, she sat with the books and, while sitting here writing, the music is going and I give her the correct book to the music and she is happy to sit there with the songs and doing actions while looking at the books.
The 14 month old just wanted to throw the books off the couch and annoy his sister.
I thought the pictures are neat, and while the music isn’t going, you can talk about what has happened in the pictures like the monkeys jumping on the bed. Dakota got upset that they got hurt jumping on the bed, and also with the Humpty Dumpty falling off the wall and cracking his head.
4/5 rating.
